The Austin Business Journal recently named Help.com, a customer service software startup, one of Austin’s Best Places to Work in 2019 in the micro-company category. Out of more than 100,000 companies in the Austin metro area, the Austin Business Journal nominated 70 businesses across four categories. The micro-business category included companies with a range of 10-24 employees. Out of the 20 companies nominated in this group, Help.com was named eighth best in its category.

The Austin Business Journal held a luncheon on Friday, June 21st, to announce the official rankings for each business. The selections were based on employee ratings of the company. Variables such as company culture, transparency, and benefits were evaluated alongside overall employee satisfaction.

Help.com CEO Adam Farrar says he was honored his company was named a recipient. “This is a big moment--not only for us--but for our employees who have helped shape our environment. We aspire to create a workplace that serves as a positive example for other companies. Happy employees are also key to providing great customer support.”
